Season 2: Episode 15: One Hit Wonder

When up-and-coming musician Abby Coleman is found beaten to death on the side of Mulholland Drive, all eyes focus on her producer, Rupert Stone, as the number one suspect. Rupert and Abby, who had been sleeping together, were at a party at the Playboy mansion the night she was murdered, and security cameras had captured them leaving in the same car. In addition, the record company Rupert worked for had covered up several assaults on women Rupert had worked and slept with in the past, leading our team to charge him with the murder. However, further surveillance video alibis Rupert out, leading the team to the only other viable suspect, A&R executive Gina Romero. However, while investigating the case Danny made the mistake of sleeping with Gina, and when she is charged with murder she turns on Danny, accusing him of beating and raping her. With Danny in the hot seat, Shark must find the murder weapon to ensure a guilty verdict.
